Subjective Realities is an independent production company based in Cardiff, South Wales. We work with writers, directors, musicians, record labels, charities and businesses to make music videos, short films, documentaries, adverts, promotional videos, stings & idents. We also facilitate workshops and initiatives which aim to promote the arts and provide people in all areas of the community with new opportunities and skills.

Subjective Realities was started in 2006 with the intention of creating a fully self-sufficient independent production company that would give us the financial and ideological freedom to make the films we wanted to make, the way we want to make them, and ultimately provide others with the same freedom. We aim to act as a hub, bringing together other filmmakers, writers, artists and musicians and forming a strong, vibrant and visceral creative community. We want to work with people whose vision and passion parallels our own - so if you like what you see get in touch.

Our ethics are fundamental to the way we operate - we have strong values which we will not compromise on. These values include professional candidness, environmental & social awareness, and empathy & fair treatment to all. We want to work with companies and individuals who share similar values and who make a conscious effort not to act in a way which is detrimental to our society.

Between us we have expertise in a number of areas - writing, project planning, directing, cinematography, camera operation (HDV, 8mm, 16mm), sound recording, editing & finishing, animation, DVD authoring, graphic design, make-up, and on top of this we have built a broad network of freelancers. We are situated in South Wales, which as well as being on the M4 corridor, only 2 hours from London, and home to the internationally renowned Dragon DI studios, is also one of the top places worldwide for outdoor shooting locations; sea, mountains, valleys, forests, towns, cities - all within a stone's throw of each other.
